We are a small Lao team of guides and trip planners. We know the back roads, the river towns and the families who make every trip feel like a visit to friends.

Our story

Started by Lao guides, for curious travellers.

Savath Tourism was founded in 1996 in Vientiane by SAVATH SOMPHITHAK. [YOUR STORY: why you started, and what makes your trips different.]

Today our team plans every trip ourselves. We work with drivers, boat owners and homestays we know personally, so the money you spend stays in the communities you visit.
